Full Event DetailsA very hilly linear walk from Eastbourne via Beachy Head to Birling Gap for lunch. In the afternoon the Seven Sisters, up the Cuckmere river, then tea and cake stop and drop-out point at Exceat (after 9 miles). There will be various opportunities for a paddle or dip in the sea (weather permitting!).

The pub just serves soups, sandwiches and ploughmans. We return along the Grand Union Canal, and will stop for tea at the Bluebells Tearoom en route.

Full Event DetailsAn invigorating walk along the South Downs. Two steep climbs, otherwise undulating. This is a slightly shorter version of the walk we usually do in the summer. The morning remains the same but we then take a path into Lewes that leads into the High Street. Lunch at the Half Moon at Plumpton which has recently been refurbished and is under new management. Tea at Lewes.

Full Event DetailsIn the morning we follow linear parks through Luton's suburbs with an early lunch in Luton where there are many low cost options between the wonderful Art Deco Town Hall and the interesting Parish Church. In the afternoon, we reach open countryside with views over the Luton Hoo estate followed by some easy walking, along an old railway track, to Harpenden from where there are frequent fast trains back to London.
